Practical Nursing 


Licensed practical nurses provide basic healthcare and assistance to sick, injured, disabled and chronically ill patients under the direction of a physician or registered nurse in a variety of healthcare settings, including nursing homes, long-term care or rehab facilities, hospitals, physician's offices and clinics, home healthcare, insurance companies, schools and correctional facilities. There are two paths to becoming an LPN. The traditional Practical Nursing program offers face-to-face classes and clinical experiences in a variety of settings over 3 semesters. Our PN Flex program - designed for working adults who have completed all prerequisite courses and have experience as a CNA, MOA or other healthcare provider - offers a combination of face-to-face and online classes and clinical experiences over 3 semesters.
