Protecting Cells

Have you ever created a worksheet only to have someone else use it and delete all the formulas you had worked so hard on?  You can prevent this by protecting the cells containing the formulas (or any cells you don't want changed).  When cells are protected, no one can make changes to the data in those cells, but can change data in any unprotected cells.  If several people work on the same worksheet, this is wise.

Read pages 7.24 - 7.29 for a very good explanation of how to protect cells.  Also, perform the steps on those pages as instructed in the tutorial.
