Charts

Charts are used to present data in a visually appealing and easily understood format. Before we begin learning to create charts, I'd like to make sure you understand the different types of charts that you can create and when you would use each type of chart. Charting is really easy; but you must know what type of chart to use to represent your data properly.

For example, did you know that a line chart is used to show how values increase or decrease over a period of time? The key word here is time. You should be able to create and know when to use each of the following types of charts: 

     
    Column
    Bar
    Line 
    Pie 
    Stacked Column
