Login Directions for Campus Cruiser
1. Whether you are on or off campus, open Internet Explorer and go to www.octech.edu click on the Campus Cruiser icon to access Campus Cruiser or click http://prod.campuscruiser.com/octech . You may want to add this link to your Favorites.
2. Once the page loads, type in your username and password. Your username in most cases is your last name, first initial of your first name, and middle initial; all lowercase letters with no spaces. To find out what your username is please click on “What’s my User ID?” under “Login Information” on the left side of the page. Your password will be your date of birth (MMDDYY format). After logging on with this password you will be prompted to change this password and select hint questions with answers.
Example Usernames: doeaj or doe-dobaj or doeaj90 or doea
Example Password: 013180
If you are having trouble retrieving your username from “What’s my User ID?” please send an e-mail to cchelp@octech.mailcruiser.com
3. Once logged on, you will come to the “My Cruiser” page, which lists personalized information regarding your classes, e-mail, etc.
4. If you forget your password, click on Forgotten password? under “Login Information” on the left side of the page. Type in your username, click next.
a) If you know your password hint answers, type them in. Campus Cruiser will log you in.
b) If you do not know your password hint answer, email cchelp@octech.mailcruiser.com to have your password reset back to your date of birth (MMDDYY format).
5. Help is just a click away. Click on Help link in the global bar to access help. When you navigate to different sections of Campus Cruiser, you can click on Help for information about the page you are on.
6. A wealth of information is available by clicking on the Support tab in Campus Cruiser. Here you will find information about Campus Cruiser, WebAdvisor, and Smarthinking.
7. If you ever have any questions, comments, or concerns, you can always click on the Support link located on the global bar to send an e-mail to the Help Desk. The e-mail address for the Help Desk is cchelp@octech.mailcruiser.com.
8. Your email address will be username@octech.mailcruiser.com .
