Headline: OCtech Student receives Cattleman's Association Scholarship

Zachary Dantzler, a student at Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical College, has been named the recipient of the Orangeburg Area Cattleman’s Association Scholarship.
The Association’s criteria for awarding this $400 scholarship stipulates that the recipient must be a resident of Orangeburg or Calhoun County and enrolled as a full-time student at OCtech. The recipient must have been reared on a farm and have experience in crops and livestock. The student must also show great potential in successfully completing OCtech’s Associate in Science Soils and Sustainable Crops program and intend to transfer to Clemson University.
Zachary is pursuing an associate degree in OCtech’s Soils and Sustainable Crops program. This program includes a bridge agreement with Clemson University and offers guaranteed transfer credit to the College of Agricultural, Forestry, and Life Sciences at Clemson University. After receiving the Associate of Science Degree with an emphasis in Sustainable Agriculture from OCtech, graduates who meet specified program criteria will be accepted as juniors to Clemson University.
