Welcome to Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical College.

If you visited our campus lately, you have surely noticed all of the positive changes that have taken place over the past five years. I believe that the changes in our facilities reflect the progressive programs and partnerships that we have developed in our community and throughout the state. We have completed the Student and Community Life Center and the Math and Science Center with the Roguemore Auditorium, renovated space for five computer technology classrooms, renovated the Gressette Learning Lab, added a diesel lab, added Mechatronics and Project Lead the Way labs, and renovated many other areas with new equipment. Currently, we have two buildings under construction. The first of the buildings to occupy our planned Technology Park at the rear of the campus is the Transportation and Logistics Center. In Calhoun County, we are building a QuickJobs Center in St. Matthews in partnership with the Calhoun County Library. These additions and changes offer our students a wide array of improved services. I invite you to take advantage of all that the college offers to enhance your educational experiences.

The faculty and staff at OCtech are dedicated to the success of our students and are committed to providing quality programs and service to all of our students. It is our goal to prepare students for the workforce of the future. We will provide you with the knowledge and skills that you will need in your chosen career. As the world of work continues to change, we pledge to offer you the skills that you will need for advancement. We are proud of the technology and innovative techniques utilized by our faculty and of the technology that is available to you.

I am very optimistic about OCtech’s potential for service to our communities. Your success will be a factor in the success of Orangeburg and Calhoun Counties in the future. Working together, we can improve the quality of life for our citizens. Please enjoy your time here at the College!
