What Do We Do?
Our staff can administer a career assessment evaluation that will provide information pertaining to your skills, interests and career choices. You can also learn about the most current career trends; find out where you can get the education and training for the career you want; and learn about additional resources within the college and community that may help you with other types of assistance.

Career Service Hours are:
Monday through Thursday, 8:00 am - 7:30 pm
Friday, 8:00 am - 1:30 pm

Who Can Participate?
We invite and encourage all students enrolled at Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical College to take advantage of the Career Center and Job Placement Services.
All you need to do to become eligible to use these services is to register with the Job Placement Office by completing a registration form, sign an authorization allowing us to release information on your behalf to prospective employers and maintain a current resume on file with us. The only other requirement is that you complete at least one semester at OCtech before receiving job placement referrals. Your file will remain active for one year unless you notify us otherwise. Alumni of Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical College may also use our services.


How Much Does It Cost?
Our services are absolutely free; however, there are certain limitations on usage of some job placement services such as faxing resumes or making copies.
Items such as computer diskettes and high quality resume paper are not supplied by Job Placement Services; therefore, you are encouraged to bring your own.

8:00 am - 2:00 pm
Tuesday 8:00 am - 2:30 pm
Friday 8:00 am - 1:30 pm
