Orangeburg-Calhoun: Financial Aid

Financial Aid Deadlines

Forms completed by stated deadlines ensure that students will be informed of their financial aid status prior to established tuition and fee payment deadlines:

FAFSA is required for- Pell Grant, Lottery Tuition Assistance, SEOG, Student Loans, College Work Study and SCNBG  funds:

July 1

 fall semester

November 1

 spring semester

April 1

 summer session

Applications submitted after the above priority deadlines WILL BE accepted but may not be processed prior to deadlines to pay tuition and fees.  In this case, the student will be responsible for payment of tuition and fees until the FASFA has been successfully processed by the Department of Education. Eligible students may seek reimbursement for the eligible portion of tuition and fees paid by the student once it is determined that the student is eligible for financial aid.

To be considered for campus based aid (College Workstudy, Supplemental Education Opportunity Grant, S.C. Need-Based Grant) your financial aid materials must be received prior to June 1.

Campus-based funds are awarded first to applicants who submit material by the stated deadline; however, late applicants may receive campus-based awards on a funds-available basis. Pell Grants are always available regardless of the deadlines. Applications are reviewed for eligible students throughout the year.
