Federal Pell Grants
 

A need-based grant for individuals not holding a bachelor's degree. This program is sponsored by the federal government and currently grants range from $890 to $4731 per academic year.

Qualifications include:

• current year FAFSA on file
• have a high school diploma or
  GED, or meet Ability to Benefit Scores
• seeking a degree at OCtech
• demostrate financial need by a calculated expected family contribution (EFC) on the FAFSA
• maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP)
• not be in default on a student loand or overpayment on a federal grant
• males - registered for Selective Service
