Narrative: Members of the Orangeburg-Calhoun Area Technical Education Commission may be dismissed only for cause and with due process as provided in both state statutes and the By Laws of the Area Commission. Members may be removed only for failure to perform duties and for excessive absences as outlined by SC Code of Laws Section 1-3-240 and by Orangeburg Area Commission Bylaws Article II Section 2.5. The Commission would recommend the removal of the member to the appointing body.
