It has been a major undertaking to compile all of our data electronically in one location, but I believe that it will prove worthwhile for all of us as we strive to accomplish the mission of the college.  We hold the accreditation process in high esteem as evidenced by our early application for accreditation from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS).  Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical College (OCtech) received initial accreditation from SACS in December, 1970, only after enrolling its first students two years earlier in 1968.  Further, in addition to maintaining SACS accreditation, all college programs that are eligible for national accreditation by specialized professional bodies hold accreditation from those organizations.
