The SC Promise and the Calhoun Pledge Scholarships offer up to $2,000 for qualified high school graduates in certain school districts.  Certain restrictions apply.  Please select SC Promise if you graduated from an Orangeburg or other county high school (see eligible school districts), or the Calhoun Pledge if you graduated from a Calhoun County high school for details.

  • Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at The FAFSA is required for many types of financial aid, such as the Pell Grant and S.C. Lottery Tuition Assistance, which will be applied to your cost of education first. The scholarship will be applied toward the remaining cost of tuition, mandatory fees, program fees and up to $300 for books after other forms of financial aid are applied. Refunds will not be issued.
  • Complete the SC Promise Application or Calhoun Pledge Application. Apply now. Funds are limited.

You must apply to the college, be admitted and enroll in at least 6 credit hours.
