This course provides students with a basic understanding of the social, political, and historical aspects of diverse educational institutions in American culture with an emphasis on families, schools, and communities. This course is designed for transfer from OCTC and MTC to USC-Columbia’s College of Education – Department of Instruction and Teacher Education.
