How do I complete my admissions application to OCtech if the campus is closed?
You can use our OCtech Online Admissions Application and your application will be automatically sent to us.
Your next step will be to complete your FASFA for financial aid. You can find details about that on our Financial Aid Page.
How do I take my ACCUPLACER, ATI Fundamentals or TEAS test?
We are currently administering ACCUPLACER tests via our Virtual Testing Center for summer and fall admissions. We ask that all students participate in virtual ACCUPLACER testing throughout the summer. To schedule a virtual test, visit our ACCUPLACER page for details.
If you are unable to take the ACCUPLACER virtually, you may schedule an on-campus test using our appointment calendar.

- Faculty advisors are working remotely and available to assist you with advisement and registration. - If you have already been advised and your classes have been approved, you may register for your summer/fall classes through Self Service beginning April 20th.

Can I still apply for financial aid?
Yes. Our Financial Aid Office will find a financial aid package that works for you. You can begin the process by following the instructions on our Financial Aid page.

I am a new student. How do I register for classes for the first time?

For students who wish to pay by check or cash ONLY , the information/cashier desk at the main entrance in S Building will be staffed beginning July 20 from 9 am to 5 pm Monday through Thursday.

Book Store Hours:
- Monday -Thursday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Students receiving any type of Financial Aid may charge in the bookstore Monday, August 10 – Thursday, September 3.
Social distancing and all other guidelines set by the CDC will be observed.
What if I don't have Internet access at home?
Wi-Fi access is available for free on our campus.
- Enter the campus through the gate from Cook Road (across from the Regional Medical Center Emergency Department entrance).
- Park in the lot behind Buildings S and K. Please note that there will be no access to campus buildings.
- Wi-Fi access is available Monday through Thursday from 8am to 6pm.

How do I change my schedule or add/drop a class?
- Students can make their own schedule adjustments through Self Service through August 14.
- After that, students should email askme@octech.edu or call 803.535.1224.
- The last day to make adjustments is August 21.
