Administrative Office Technology – Associate Degree

About the Program
Prepare to take on the role of today’s administrative assistant, which goes far beyond filing paperwork and answering the telephone. Administrative assistants are charged with maintaining the office’s efficiency by organizing meetings, tracking paper and electronic files, preparing research reports and overseeing budgets. Employers seek assistants with high potential and critical thinking abilities.

Students in the Administrative Office Technology program wishing to pursue a four-year degree may qualify for the approved articulation pathway into the B.A. in Leadership and Professional Communications at Columbia College or the B.A. in Organizational Leadership at the University of SC’s Palmetto College.
