About the Program
Earn a Bachelor of Science in Food Science from Clemson University by starting here. Students attend OCtech for two years before transferring to Clemson to finish their degree and participate in a study abroad semester over the summer. Special Requirements
Graduates who meet all of the specific criteria will be accepted, without further review of credentials, with junior standing at Clemson University.
- The student will have received the Associate in Science degree with an emphasis in Food Science and Nutrition from Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical College.
- The student will have taken all of the required courses.
- The student’s cumulative grade point ratio must be 2.5 or higher.
- A grade of “C” or better is necessary in all transfer courses applied toward a bachelor’s degree.
Transfer Options
OCtech has an approved articulation agreement with Clemson University – Bachelor of Science Degree in Food Science.
