OCtech Foundation Receives $10,000 for Scholarships from Cypress Creek Renewables


The Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical College Foundation has received a $10,000 gift from Cypress Creek Renewables for student scholarships. Cypress Creek Renewables developed Palmetto Plains, South Carolina’s largest solar farm, in Bowman. The OCtech Foundation will begin awarding the scholarship to OCtech students from the Bowman area or graduates of Bowman-Bethune High School – with a preference given to those majoring in engineering technology programs at the college – in the fall.
