Grievances and Complaints

OCtech is committed to resolving student grievances, complaints and concerns in a prompt, fair and friendly manner.  Students who desire to resolve a grievance internally should follow the college’s Student Grievance Procedure.  However, if an issue cannot be resolved internally, you may file a complaint with the South Carolina Technical College System. The Grievance Procedure describes the process for filing a grievance with the South Carolina Technical College System.

Distance Learning Programs Complaint Procedure

Students enrolled in distance learning courses have the option of filing a complaint with the appropriate authority in the state in which he/she resides or through the S.C. Commission on Higher Education website’s Complaint Procedures page.
