As part of its ongoing 50th anniversary celebration, Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical College is holding a Community Art Contest.
The theme for the contest is “Learning and Growing,” and all media types will be accepted. The contest is open to residents of all ages in Orangeburg and Calhoun counties. Artists are welcome to submit as many entries as they like. Submissions will be judged based on originality, content and relevance to the theme.
Entries should be dropped off at the OCtech Library, on the second floor of Building B. Email digital artwork to Haley Hall at firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject “OCtech Community Art Contest” or deliver them via flash drive to the Library. Digital content should be submitted in a .tiff file format. Obscene or offensive works are prohibited and will be disqualified from the contest.
Deadline for entries is July 1, 2019. Select submissions will be displayed in the OCtech library, and shared on the college’s social media pages and in the college magazine.
