What is Mechatronics? Take a tour and get a crash course in this exciting program! We’ll introduce you to sensors and systems in automation, operate a KUKA industrial robot, build and operate the hydraulic/pneumatic trainer and more. We’ll introduce you to patrol officer duties, how to use a variety of police tools and investigation techniques like fingerprinting. You’ll even get to see how you respond to real-life scenarios using the TI Training Use of Force Simulator. Wear a mask and bring a pen or pencil.

In this session, we’ll give you an overview of electrical circuitry at your own workstation, where you’ll wire up multiple circuits. You’ll leave with a basic understanding of reading electrical drawings, applying those drawings to real-world devices and the basic use of electrical hand tools. Move beyond the basics of physical therapy to high-level, plyometric activities geared toward an athlete’s safe return to sports. You’ll gain an understanding of the importance of individualized training and practice plyometric drills often used during treatment. Wear comfortable, appropriate clothing and tennis shoes.

Interact with our state-of-the-art simulation mannequins, which provide hands-on practice in a safe learning environment. Tour our 29-bed skills lab, and practice proper handwashing skills – our glow germ light will evaluate your success! Wear business casual attire and non-skid shoes. Face mask optional.

Your Marketing Release must be submitted to the college prior to attending a work-based learning experience. Students must bring completed Job Shadowing Application, WBL Experience Report with additional paper to complete the report, Temporary Parking Pass and any materials specifically listed for selected curricula when they arrive for their WBL experience.
