May 8, 1974 Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical Education Center becomes Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical College
April 9, 1975 dedication of $2,000,000 college expansion and opening of the Learning Resource Center and Administration Building
May 26, 1978 the Gressette Learning Resource Center and Williams Administration Building dedicated in honor of Sen. L. Marion Gressette of St. Matthews and Sen. Marshall B. Williams of Orangeburg
